We use this for slicing and dicing the prescription wet food for one of our pups. She’s on a special diet for sensitive stomachs, and needs to eat several small meals a day. Because it’s hard to judge the amount she’s eating accurately if you’re just scooping hunks out of a can, we weigh her food for each meal. It’s SO MUCH EASIER to do that when you’ve got a fairly uniform cut up food like this offers.Things to know:1) the blades are SHARP. Seriously. Sharp. We’ve both cut ourselves accidentally trying to clean the blade enough to put it in our temperamental dishwasher, so be careful if you’re not using a cut proof glove to pop it in and out of the holder.2) if you have weak wrists/poor hand strength like I do, it’s not going to make things 100% easier for you, but if you do it in small enough sections (say, 1/2” at the deepest for what you’re putting on the blades), it will still cut down on a lot of your wrist/hand usage. You could probably chop half an onion if you’ve got my husbands hand strength. For me – I had to cut it into chunks that were 1/2” or so thick and then those I could put on the blades and successfully chop on my own. Your mileage may vary.3) IT’S DISHWASHER SAFE – this was probably the most important thing for me to discover. My husband was hand washing it and that took ages (especially since we use the smallest dice blade, so there are approximately a million holes to clean), but a quick rinse to remove residue and then into the dishwasher it goes (top rack, since it’s plastic).4) the top piece comes apart into 3 different sections – the arm that lifts up/down, the interchangeable blade, and the piece that holds the blade in place – it’s pretty ingenious in design.Worth it. We love it. We love it so much we bought two so that we always have one ready to use.

Cuts prep time to minutes. We use it to dice all veggies. Super helpful making small potatoes for crispy breakfast potatoes. Saved my hands during holiday season. Finally starting to use all the accessory blades like spiralizer.

I’ve had this for a few months and wanted to wait to leave a review to make sure it stayed working. It did! It hasn’t dulled or anything and remains functional. I use this almost every day for pretty much any veggie and fruit you can think of. I even dice some lunch meat and sausages with it. I love this thing.

This is my favorite purchase of the year! If you are looking for a food chopper this is it! Easy and with my arthritic hands it is smooth and makes an amazing assortment of chopped vegetables etc.

Makes chopping veggies super quick as long as you follow the directions and don’t go wild with how much you chop at the same time. It works for my needs. Love it so far I just wish it wasn’t made mostly of plastic but you get what you pay for.
